Beijing News Shell Financial News (Reporter Zhu Yueyi) "After the development of the past few years, heterojunction technology has achieved large-scale, low-cost mass production and first-class development, in recent years, heterojunction from equipment to raw materials have been localized, the yield continues to improve, heterojunction jumped to the mainstream platform is a very fast thing, is expected to see some leading enterprises in the expansion next year." On December 14, Xu Xiaohua, chairman of Anhui Huasheng New Energy Technology, said at the 2023 annual conference of the photovoltaic industry.
According to Xu Xiaohua, Huasheng New Energy's current monthly shipments have reached 500 to 600 megawatts, and customers are willing to purchase heterojunction products with gigawatt-level orders. He said that HJT can reduce costs by reducing silicon and silver, and at present, the total investment of HJT products at the power station end has been able to achieve lower total investment and better investment returns, and the company is working hard to win the cost of the production end compared with TOPCON.
Xu Xiaohua also proposed that tandem cells with heterojunction and perovskite may be the best photovoltaic cell technology direction in the dual carbon era, which can achieve high mass production conversion efficiency at a lower cost.
Huasheng New Energy is one of the leading enterprises focusing on heterojunction technology, and the company's recent financing dynamics are frequent. In November this year, Huasheng New Energy announced the completion of the C round of financing, led by China Green Development Investment Group, followed by Bank of China Asset Management and China Post Insurance, with a total financing of more than 2 billion yuan. This round of financing will be used for the continuous expansion of Huasheng's high-efficiency heterojunction products, as well as the research and development of cutting-edge technologies such as heterojunction-perovskite tandem cells.
