On December 18, the unveiling ceremony of the Greater Bay Area R&D Institute of China FAW Group was held in the Shenzhen State-owned Assets and State-owned Enterprises Industrial Innovation Center.
It is reported that the unveiling of the China FAW Greater Bay Area R&D Institute is located in the Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, and will focus on the five major directions of forward-looking technology, advanced materials, power electronics, chips and vehicle-road collaborative demonstration in the field of new energy and intelligent vehicles, and make every effort to promote projects such as all-solid-state lidar, planar gate silicon carbide power semiconductors and domestic substitution of advanced ceramic materials, and strive to break through the integration of high-performance computing cores. Technologies such as flexible sensing and flexible photovoltaic cells will accelerate the creation of a technological innovation highland, better play the active role of China FAW in scientific and technological innovation, industrial control, and safety support, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry.
Before the unveiling ceremony, the signing of the solid-state battery industry innovation consortium was also held, and 27 co-construction units, including China FAW, will comprehensively strengthen solid-state battery technology research and development cooperation and jointly promote the transformation and industrialization of solid-state battery scientific research achievements.
