The ranks of military personnel are different for different status categories. There are three types of military personnel in the army: officers, non-commissioned officers and conscripts, and there are three different rank systems. Before the reform of the military rank system in 2018, it was common for officers to have two ranks in one position, but these "two ranks" were not permanent and temporary military ranks, but benchmark military ranks and auxiliary military ranks. After the reform of the military rank system in 2018, the army implemented a new military rank system and implemented a system of one post and one rank. Under the new system, there is no longer a distinction between base and auxiliary ranks, and only one rank corresponds to one rank.

In fact, there is no such thing as a temporary rank in our army, and a person will not be temporarily awarded the rank of officer. The rank an officer receives is tied to his rank. The correspondence between ranks and ranks has been explained above. The current military rank system of our army does not require temporary military ranks at all. Just like a major general, will he be temporarily awarded the rank of lieutenant general?The answer is no. Because it doesn't make much sense, it is enough to award military ranks to officers directly according to the correspondence between ranks and ranks. The commander of the group army is an officer at the rank of regular army, and the rank of major general can be conferred according to the system. 
Officers of the full company rank are awarded the rank of captain, officers of the deputy battalion and full battalion are awarded the rank of major, officers of the deputy regiment rank are conferred the rank of lieutenant colonel, officers of the deputy division and division rank are conferred the rank of colonel, officers of the deputy corps and regular army rank are conferred the rank of major general, officers of the deputy theater level are awarded the rank of lieutenant general, and officers of the main theater level are awarded the rank of general.
