Walk into the classroom and chat with students during recess

Before each class, I Xi used to walk into the classroom a few minutes early to see what the students were doing during the free time between classes. In the beginning, I was often asked by students who were confused: Teacher, are you in class?I laughed: not yet. The bell has not yet rang. Can't you enter the classroom without a teacher? It turned out that most of the students were accustomed to Xi teacher walking into the classroom with the class bell ringing, and leaving with the lesson plan after the class bell rang.

Perhaps because I am a political science teacher, I want to understand the real state and mentality of students in this way, and have some communication and exchange with them beyond the subject content. When we enter the classroom a few minutes before class and see some children catching up on sleep and some children chatting with their tablemates, the teacher can join them in the conversation or ask their classmates if they are tired or happy recently.

Of course, there is also the advantage that when the teacher is coming, the students who are making noise and loud noises stop, and those who are not prepared for the class may immediately find the political textbook, which can help them get into the Xi state of the next class faster.

Every student is a living entity with a unique spiritual world. Talk to the children about topics they are interested in, fully respect the students, pay attention to the psychological needs of the students, and let the students experience the joy of growth.

Distance with students is very important, and only by having a common language with students can we enter their inner world, listen more to what children are thinking, see more about what current students are concerned about, and grow together with students.

In this way, naturally, the hearts of the students are pulled over. Perhaps this is a skill that subject teachers possess that can reach the hearts of students beyond subject teaching.
