The World Table Tennis Championships is the oldest table tennis event, with 7 events in each World Table Tennis Championships. The World Table Tennis Championships is held every two years, and since 2003, the World Table Tennis Championships has been divided into two parts: individual competitions and team competitions.
There are also 7 gold medals in the Asian Games Table Tennis Championships, Asian Table Tennis Championships, National Games Table Tennis Tournaments and National Table Tennis Championships. The Asian Cup Table Tennis Tournament has two gold medals in men's singles and women's singles.
Unlike the above-mentioned events, the Olympic Table Tennis Tournament has never had seven events.
