Recently, the "Operating System Conference & OpenEuler Summit 2023" with the theme of "Rising in the Digital Era, Leading the Digital Future" was held in Beijing. The joint innovation project of enhancing the cloud-native data plane successfully won the "Leading Business Practice" award jointly issued by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center and the OpenAtom OpenEuler community at the conference, demonstrating the advanced nature of the two parties in the field of independent innovation of basic software technology.
Founded in 1987, China CITIC Bank is the first commercial bank in China to participate in financing in domestic and foreign financial markets. China CITIC Bank has always adhered to the core driving force of technology empowerment and innovation drive, resolutely implemented the national strategy, and actively and steadily promoted the independent innovation and upgrading of critical information infrastructure. In 2023, China CITIC Bank and Huawei will establish a joint innovation lab for financial digitalization to build a financial digital innovation incubation center, and focus on key digital problems in the financial industry and carry out joint research in the field of independent innovation in financial technology. As a programmable technology of the Linux kernel in recent years, EBPF supports custom adjustment of kernel execution logic without rebuilding the kernel. Together with the open source community and the wisdom of the crowd, EBPF is used to further enhance the capabilities of China CITIC Bank's cloud-native data plane, accelerate network communication, reduce communication noise floor, and achieve zero-intrusion system observation of applications, thereby improving system performance.
In order to apply cloud-native technology to the digital transformation of finance, the Financial Digitalization Joint Innovation Lab has set up a research group with experts from China CITIC Bank's information technology "One Department and Three Centers", Huawei's Digital Finance Corps, and Huawei's 2012 Lab

The research results of the EBPF enhanced cloud-native data plane joint innovation project have accumulated rich experience for the independent innovation of basic software technology in the financial industry, built a key technology foundation, and quickly crossed the ecological inflection point of the technical route through open source co-construction. In the future, China CITIC Bank will work with Huawei to continue to promote fintech innovation, build a solid software foundation for new digital infrastructure, and promote continuous innovation in basic software technologies, leading the digital and intelligent transformation of the financial industry.
