The UFCS converged fast charging protocol has become a common fast charging standard in the fast charging industry, which can realize the unification of the fast charging market. While improving the user's charging experience, it also promotes energy conservation and environmental protection in all aspects.

The IP5385 has a built-in bidirectional synchronous buck-boost driver with an integrated charge pump that supports the use of high-performance NMOS for switching and path management. Only one chip is equipped with an inductor and synchronous switch tube, as well as a path management tube for the corresponding interface, which can form a complete 2-4 string battery and multi-interface high-power fast-charging mobile power supply. The chip supports 65W charging and discharging power, which meets the needs of mobile power supply, energy storage power supply, portable equipment and power tool applications.

The chip has built-in input over-voltage and under-voltage protection, output over-voltage, over-current and short-circuit protection, battery overcharge, over-discharge and over-current protection, supports external NTC for battery temperature protection, and built-in chip overtemperature protection. The data pins are tolerant to 30V and are ESD protected.
