In the channel, solid particulate matter in the effluent is further trapped on the surface of the filter cloth due to the reduced flow rate and increased pressure.

5.Tensioning and discharging phases: After the above stages of treatment, a large amount of solid particulate matter accumulates on the filter cloth belt of the belt press. At this point, the tensioner starts to work to tension the filter cloth belt and ensure that the solid particles are in close contact with the filter cloth. Subsequently, the solid particles are scraped off the filter cloth by means of a discharge device to form a piece of dry mud cake for subsequent processing and disposal.

6.Cleaning stage: After the discharge is completed, the belt filter press enters the cleaning stage. The cleaning water is evenly sprayed on the filter cloth belt through the nozzle to rinse away the solid particles remaining on the filter cloth. The cleaning water is discharged out of the machine through the drain tank.

7.Shutdown phase: After cleaning, the drivetrain gradually slows down and eventually stops rotating. The guiding system returns the filter cloth tape to its original position and the entire running process ends.
