The Natural Resources Survey and Monitoring Labor and Skills Competition was successfully held

On December 13, sponsored by the Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and the Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, undertaken by the Provincial Institute of Geological Investigation, and co-organized by the Provincial Earth and Environmental Center (Huadi Company), the final of the 2nd Sichuan Natural Resources Survey and Monitoring Labor and Skills Competition came to an end in Chengdu.

The competition was launched in September, and 58 collectives and 56 individuals from the Provincial Geological Bureau, the Provincial Institute of Geological Survey, the Provincial Natural Resources Investment Group and 21 cities (prefectures) participated in the competition. After the preliminary evaluation of the relevant units directly under the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Department of Natural Resources of brother provinces and experts from relevant universities outside the province, a total of 12 collectives and 13 individuals in the province entered the finals according to the scores.

The finals were a combination of presentations and questions from the judges, and the participating collectives and individuals showed their superb skills and good condition.

After fierce competition, the Survey Institute of Sichuan Provincial Institute of Land Science and Technology won the first prize of the collective, two units including the Chengdu Institute of Natural Resources Survey and Utilization won the second prize of the collective, and three units including the Meishan Planning and Natural Resources Bureau won the third prize of the collective18 comrades including Wang Yong of Sichuan Provincial Institute of Land Science and Technology won individual awards.

The competition fully demonstrated the professional quality of the survey and monitoring workers, gave full play to the positive role of the skills competition of "promoting learning by competition, training by competition, training by competition, and construction by competition", and demonstrated the good spirit of investigation and monitoring workers. In the next step, the Provincial Department of Natural Resources will give full play to the innovative, guiding and educating functions of the competition, summarize the experience of the competition that can be replicated and promoted, promote the high-quality development of the province's survey and monitoring work, and support and serve the management of natural resources at a higher level, higher quality and higher efficiency.
