Health for All says
In recent years, the incidence of cancer has shown a rapid growth trend, which poses a major threat to people's health. And someone has put forward an interesting hypothesis: people who do not have a fever for a long time have poor immunity and are more likely to develop cancer. This view has attracted some attention, but is it really reasonable? As an experienced veteran Chinese medicine practitioner, I will combine the theories of Chinese medicine, quote ancient and modern famous prescriptions, and analyze them to you one by one.
First of all, does not having a fever for a long time lead to a decrease in immunity?According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, there are two forces in the human body, righteous qi and evil qi, which represent the body's defense, and evil qi is a variety of leading elements in the outside world. If the righteous qi is sufficient, the evil qi will be difficult to infringe, and the immunity will be enhanced. Fever is a reaction of the human body to fight evil qi, and fever can help remove harmful substances from the body and improve immunity. However, not everyone can develop a fever quickly, especially if they are weak or facing chronic diseases, and the increase in body temperature may not be significant, which does not mean that immunity is poor. Therefore, the absence of fever for a long time does not directly indicate poor immunity.
Second, does poor immunity increase the risk of cancer?Traditional Chinese medicine believes that cancer is caused by various pathological factors such as dampness and heat in the body, blood stasis, etc. Poor immunity may lead to the growth of dampness, heat, and poison in the body, leading to pathogenesis disorders, thereby increasing the risk of cancer. However, to judge whether a person has poor immunity, in addition to observing whether there is no fever for a long time, it is also necessary to comprehensively consider many factors such as physical fitness, lifestyle habits, and diet. Accurate conclusions can only be drawn after these aspects have been comprehensively weighed.
For example, for those who catch colds frequently and are susceptible to infections, immunity may indeed be poor. In TCM diagnosis and treatment, some ancient and modern prescriptions can be used to improve immunity. For example, "Buzhong Yiqi Soup" is composed of medicinal materials such as astragalus, ginseng, and atractylodes, which has the effect of nourishing the spleen and stomach and improving the body's immunity. For another example, "Astragalus Bazhen Soup" contains ginseng, astragalus, ginseng and other Chinese herbs that are beneficial to qi and blood and improve human immunity, which can be used to replenish qi and nourish blood and enhance immunity.
In fact, Chinese medicine has always emphasized that prevention is better than **. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that only by recuperating the body and mind and strengthening the physical fitness can we better improve immunity and reduce the risk of cancer. In terms of diet, TCM advocates "five grains for nourishment, five fruits for help", and recommends eating more whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables to provide sufficient nutrients. In terms of exercise, moderate exercise can enhance the body's ability to resist diseases. In addition, good lifestyle habits and positive emotional attitudes are also important factors in maintaining health and enhancing immunity.
In summary, the absence of fever for a long time does not directly indicate poor immunity, and poor immunity does not simply lead to an increased risk of cancer. We should comprehensively consider the individual's physique, lifestyle habits, diet and other factors, and improve immunity and reduce the risk of cancer through a good health regimen. As a TCM practitioner, I firmly believe in the important role of Chinese medical wisdom in cancer prevention and treatment, which can provide useful inspiration for modern medicine and contribute to the health and well-being of mankind.
