L415m longitudinal seam steel pipe, L415m longitudinal welded pipe.

L415M longitudinal seam steel pipe is made of L415 steel plate or strip steel. Production method: ERW longitudinal seam resistance welded steel pipe, LSAW longitudinal seam submerged arc welded steel pipe.

Product implementation standard: GB T9711PSL1 and PSL2 steel pipes for oil and gas industry pipeline transportation system.

Product specifications: outer diameter 76mm 1420mm, wall thickness 2mm 80mm

L415M Longitudinal Seam Welded Pipe Chemical Composition: Carbon: 012, silicon: 045, manganese 160, phosphorus: 0025, sulfur: 0015

Mechanical properties: yield 415MPa 565MPa, tensile strength: 520MPa 760MPa, yield ratio 093, Weld tensile strength 520MPa

Tensile test specimens.

The interception of the plate test, which represents the full wall thickness of the steel pipe, shall comply with the requirements of ISO6892-1 or ASTMA 370 and be shown in Figure 5. The standard sampling position should be selected along the length of the steel strip (coil) steel plate according to the documented practice. For heat-worked and heat-treated seamless tubes, the transverse specimen should be a circular ladder specimen and taken from an unflattened test block. For other steel pipes, the transverse specimen can be either a plate test or a round bar specimen, the plate specimen should be taken from the flattened test block, and the round bar specimen should be taken from the unflattened test block. The specimen should be flattened according to the documented procedure.

Unless the manufacturer may choose to use an adjacent larger diameter specimen, the diameter of the circular ladder specimen for the transverse tensile test shall be in accordance with Table 21. For a wall thickness of 190mm(0.748in) for the longitudinal tensile test of the steel pipe, the diameter of the round specimen should be 127mm(0.500in)。For D 2191mm(8.625in), the manufacturer may choose to use a full-section longitudinal specimen. If protocol, the transverse yield strength can be determined using an expansion ring specimen. The weld can be smoothed, and the local defects can be removed. In addition to the ISO148-1 and the required hammer radius (2mm or 8mm) specified in the order contract, the specimen preparation for CVN impact test shall be in accordance with the provisions of ASTMA 370. The notched axis should be perpendicular to the surface of the steel pipe.

In order to ensure that the impact test notch of the pipe weld and HAZ is in place, the specimen should be corroded before the notch. Submerged arc welded (SAW) and combined welded (COW) pipe weld specimens should be prepared with the axis of the notch at or as close as possible to the centerline of the outer weld as shown. The sample should be taken as close as possible to the outer diameter surface of the steel pipe. When preparing the submerged arc welded (SAW) and combined welded (COW) pipe heat-affected zone (HAZ) specimens, the axis of the notch should be connected to the outer weld bead fusion line shown as far as possible. The sample should be taken as close as possible to the outer diameter surface of the steel pipe. When preparing high-frequency welded (HFW) pipe weld specimens, the axis of the notch should be at or as close to the weld line as possible. If the absorption energy is expected to exceed 80% of the full scale range of the impact testing machine, the adjacent smaller size specimen can be used, in addition, the size, direction and sample of the sample should be in accordance with the provisions of the table, Note: The steel pipe that is not included in Table 22 with the specified outer diameter and the specified wall thickness (size) is not required to carry out the CVN impact test
