There are many ways to make abalone at home, but here are two of them that are easy to learn

Method 1: Steamed abalone with garlic.

Ingredients: 6 abalones.

Garlic to taste. Salt to taste.

Light soy sauce to taste. Cooking wine to taste.

Chopped green onion to taste. Steps:

Remove the shell and gutt, wash and drain.

Cut a few knives on the surface of the abalone, sprinkle with a little salt, drizzle with a little cooking wine and marinate for 10 minutes.

After chopping the minced garlic, add light soy sauce and salt and mix well to make a garlic paste.

Spread the garlic sauce evenly over the surface of the abalone.

Add water to the steamer, put the abalone in the boil, steam for 5-6 minutes on high heat, and sprinkle with chopped green onions after taking it out.

Method 2: Braised abalone.

Ingredients: 8 abalones.

1 old hen.

Appropriate amount of conpoy. Ham to taste.

Sugar to taste. Green onions to taste.

Ginger to taste. Cornstarch to taste.

Cooking wine to taste. Salt to taste.

Steps: Boil the old hen and scallops in soup and set aside.

Remove the shell and gutt, wash and drain. Cut a few knives on the surface of the abalone, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and cooking wine and marinate for 10 minutes.

Add oil to a hot pan, add green onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant, add abalone and fry until golden brown on both sides.

Add cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar and a pinch of salt to taste, add the boiled chicken broth and scallop soup, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Finally, add a little water starch to thicken, sprinkle with chopped green onions, and then remove from the pot.

Both of these methods are simple and easy to learn, making them suitable for everyday cooking at home. Of course, there are plenty of other practices waiting to be explored.
