PMP Exam Registration Conditions Time Fee Question Type

The PMP exam is a certification exam for the qualification of project management professionals, and its registration conditions are as follows: candidates must have more than 35 hours of PMBOK study or training experience in project management, and present a copy of the relevant certificate.

1.Applicants with a bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree or above, with at least 4,500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and a cumulative number of project management months of at least 36 months in the 6 years prior to the date of application. (The required 36 months are non-overlapping and separate when calculating project management months.) )

2.Applicants who do not possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree or above, must have at least 7,500 hours of project management experience in the five major project management processes, and have accumulated at least 60 months of project management in the 8 years prior to the date of application.

The PMP exam is held four times a year, and in 2024 it will be held in March, June, August and November.

The exam fee is 3,900 RMB, and the training fee needs to be queried according to the specific training institution, because different institutions may offer different courses and services, and the cost will vary.

For question types and test formats, the PMP exam is a written test with a duration of 230 minutes. Question types include multiple choice questions and multiple choice questions, where multiple choice questions will indicate how many correct options need to be selected. In general, as long as there is a certain understanding and practical experience in project management, coupled with systematic study and preparation, it is possible to pass the PMP exam.
