Here's the thing. After school on Wednesday, Lele said: I had a cough at noon, and Teacher C fed me water to drink, and I still had a cough (thanks to the teacher for taking care of me!)
Immediately after that, the state was not right, out of breath, and I couldn't walk after two steps (the normal physical strength level is 20,000 steps a day).
On the way, I was thinking about the plan: should I take some bronchodilator medicine first, or nebulize, or go to the hospital?
After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to do atomization first. Here's a little bit of science:For most coughs, nebulization is ineffective. But if you are wheezing, nebulization is useful, but it is still necessary to find the root of the cough and prescribe the right medicine.
While doing the nebulization, I decided to go to the hospital after eating. At this time, Lele had no strength to move from the living room sofa to the dining table. I ordered her favorite miso bone takeout, and I didn't have an appetite at all.
After the atomization was done, I leaned close to the baby's lungs to listen to the soundThe beeping sound is obvious, not good, maybe pneumonia again!
I also wrote about abnormal lung noises before:
If it's a coarse rale, it's a hintBronchitis。- Parents can hear with their ears.
If it is a small and small vesicle sound, it indicates that the alveoli are exuding, and the lung parenchyma is affectedPneumonia。- Parents can't hear with their ears and must rely on stethoscopes.Arrived at the hospital, skillful **, blood draw,Doctor's diagnosis is still a five-step process:Ask about the length of the cough(The doctor's original words: cough for a day or two, a week or two, a month or two, the disease is not the same),Look at the test sheet(leukocytosis, neutrophilia, bacterial infection is judged),Look at the throat(It's a little red and swollen this time),Listen to the lungs(I heard it directly in the early stage of pneumonia, and I didn't let me continue to take chest X-ray CT),Ask if you have a fever(I didn't have a fever at the time.) However, due to the baby's weakness + chills, the doctor bluntly said: It may be about to burn).
Early diagnosis of bronchopneumonia, due to bacterial infection inducing allergies, wheezing.
Medication regimen: cephalosporin (Shifusu) - anti-inflammatory, nebulization - antiasthmatic, Yitanjing - cough suppressant, pediatric Chai Gui - fever prevention, antipyretic, interferon, probiotics. Follow-up appointment in three days.
After administering the drug according to the above regimen that night, the bellows in the lungs were still scary, and they were still out of breath and moaning in pain.
So we decided to nebulize again (4 hours after the last time) + montelukast sodium (for asthma, the doctor did not prescribe this drug, we administered it based on past experience).
The next day, the lungs were not as loud, but they were still a little out of breath. Continue administration.
On the third day, I was almost well, my mental state was back and I was alive and kicking, and I continued to administer the drug.
On the fourth day (today), everything was basically fine, and the lungs were basically silent. I'll have a follow-up appointment later.
The above options may not work for everyone.
