On December 15, the first campus first aid and ambulance technology final of the 2023 "Belt and Road" and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition opened at Hubei Vocational and Technical College. 101 teams from 83 participating colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition.

The competition was co-sponsored by the BRICS Business Council, the "Belt and Road" and the BRICS International Alliance for Skills Development, the Center for Sino-Foreign People-to-People Exchanges of the Ministry of Education, and co-organized by Hubei Vocational and Technical College.

From 2017 to the present, a total of 160,000 people have participated in the BRICS competition, related exhibitions and display activities, after the development and improvement of the six competitions, now the "Belt and Road" and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition has become a long-term cooperation mechanism between BRICS countries to promote skills development and people-to-people exchanges.

With the theme of cutting-edge technology skills and the orientation of "Future Skills Create the Future", this year's campus first aid and ambulance technology competition promotes school first aid education, popularizes first aid knowledge and skills, strengthens the school's campus emergency rescue ability, and cultivates people who are willing to rescue, dare to rescue, and are good at rescue for the society. From December 16th to 17th, there will be a competition for practical skills modules, skills promotion and first aid knowledge dissemination, and a commendation meeting and closing ceremony will be held on December 18.
