Qinghai**Rong**December 14 (Reporter Dong Jie, correspondent Zhang Pu) On December 11, the new No. 3 main transformer of the 750 kV Riyueshan substation successfully passed the 72-hour trial operation and was officially put into operation. After the No. 3 main transformer is put into operation, it will jointly undertake the transmission and regulation task of the whole station with the existing No. 1 and No. 2 main transformers in the station, realize the capacity expansion of the 750 kV Riyueshan substation, and improve the safe power supply capacity and reliability of the whole station.
The 750 kV Riyueshan substation is a "point" of the intersection of the southeast of the Qinghai 750 kV main power grid in the shape of the "day" and the west of the "8" shaped main grid, and is an important hub substation of the Qinghai main power grid connecting the east to the west and transmitting the power from the west to the east, and is responsible for the power supply task of the Qinghai-Tibet interconnection project, the Yushu interconnection project and the important load of the Xining Ganhetan Industrial Park.
The expansion project of the main transformer of the 750 kV Riyueshan substation will start construction in February 2023, and a new expansion of one group of 2100 megavolt ampere main transformers and related auxiliary equipment. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the expansion project, State Grid Qinghai UHV Company organized personnel to carry out the acceptance, operation and production preparation of the new expansion equipment, refine the implementation of various control measures, and comprehensively do a good job in safety, technology, personnel and material support.
