Zhu Ling is still gone, there is no medical miracle, and there is no miracle of solving the case - Zhu Ling did not stand up again, and the case is still a mystery. Tsinghua University officially announced the death of the 1992 alumnus, who had just celebrated her 50th birthday last month. 
At the age of 19, he was admitted to Tsinghua University, and at the age of 22, he was poisoned with thallium. In 1995, when the Internet was just emerging, Zhu Ling's high school classmates and Peking University students Bei Zhicheng and Cai Quanqing translated this unknown illness into English and sent it to Usenet's sciMED and other relevant newsgroups and Bitnet sent out distress emails, which eventually determined that thallium poisoning was the cause and determined a treatment plan. But it was too late. Zhu Ling is also the first case of Internet help in China. It was an era of dial-up Internet access with ** lines, an era of black and white screens, and an era of going up and looking outward. At that time, CCTV and many other ** reported this epic Internet help for medicine, so that the Chinese in the pre-cyber era at that time intuitively felt the Internet power of the global village "the end of the world is next to each other". As a result, Zhu Ling himself has formed an indissoluble bond with the Internet, and has become a benchmark floating in China's cyberspace for nearly 30 years. 
In the past 30 years, the stars have changed, the waves have washed the sand, the vicissitudes of the sea, the world has changed, or the eagle has turned into a dove, or the vole has turned into a duck: the speculative tenants have come and gone;"Big Brother" became an antique;Functional smart machines have changed one stubble after another;From "Shuimu Tsinghua" to Tianya Forum, from Weibo to Douyin, until today, we are inseparable from the Internet at all times. In the past 30 years, some of the friends who used to be amiable have become closer and closer, and some have gone farther and farther. Because of Zhu Ling's angry New Year, he gradually had gray hair on his head, and his children suddenly became friends, and he cared about bracelets and wolfberries. However, Zhu Ling has not changed, she is there, without saying a word, but torturing our conscience, reflecting our concern for justice, and testing our empathy for suffering. Maybe the truth is one step away, maybe ** is destined to get away with it, but we are always willing to withdraw our attention from the daily mediocrity of life, and send sympathy and regret to this forever 22-year-old girl, curse**, pray for miracles, and ask the truth. 
Zhu Ling before the poisoning In fact, ** informed Zhu Ling's family in 1995 that "there is only one layer of window paper left";The relevant person in charge of the Tsinghua University police station also said that "there is an object", and "after the approval of the above, they will start to engage in short-handed combat......".But ** was still not arrested. **once locked** was on Zhu Ling's "side", but in the end the case was closed. Many people think that Zhu Ling's roommate Sun will not escape suspicion. In 2008, Zhu Ling's family applied to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau to disclose the results of the investigation, but the application was denied. In April 2013, the Fudan poisoning case once again ignited heated discussions about the Zhu Ling case. In that year, on May 6, Xinhuanet issued a public opinion circular on "** calling for timely clarification of the rumors of the 'Zhu Ling case'". On May 7, the newspaper of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, "Liberation **", reported on Zhu Ling's tragic recent situation with the title of "Forever 22 Years Old". At that time, Sun posted on the Internet to prove his innocence: "I want to bring the real murderer to justice more than anyone else." However, there was no follow-up. This time, another 10 years have passed. More than 20 years ago, on an equally cold winter, I was in an old middle school in Shanghai's Wutong District, participating in a science and technology English competition, and the warm yellow winter sun passed through the glass. At that time, the title of the essay was "Your Views on the Internet", and I wrote about the first case of CCTV reporting Zhu Ling's Internet help. Although it was difficult at that time, I always felt that the Internet would have the power to change the worldAt that time, although I was ignorant, I believed that ** would inevitably be caught. As a result, more than 20 years later, I waited for an ending that was not the end: justice had not yet arrived, but the Internet had completely changed our lives. Zhu Ling, who was paralyzed, floated quietly on the Internet like this, witnessing the times slowly passing by, looking at you and me, or missing the outlet, or catching the express train. Everyone who has come from that era should be grateful to Zhu Ling, who voted for us on the Internet and became a yardstick to test our conscience. And we have an unspeakable debt to her, we have not been able to bring ** to justice, and we have not returned her justice.
