On the afternoon of December 9, the 2023 "Warm Winter Action" and the "Learning from Lei Feng, Advocating Virtue and Healthy New Life" Public Welfare Market in Shibei District, Qingdao City were held here. Tailor-made "love cotton clothes" into the countryside
The "Tailor-made Clothing" action is the first characteristic volunteer service activity of Qingdao Xiaojie Volunteer Public Welfare Development Center in the country, which provides suitable winter cotton clothes for the disabled and the elderly through tailoring, so that they can feel warm in winter. On the day of the event, Sister Xiao's public welfare team launched an initiative to the city, mobilizing caring enterprises and public welfare organizations to donate a love and care for the disabled and needy.
It has been 18 years since the Sister Xiaojie public welfare team carried out the warm winter action, and the whole city is linked every year, and all walks of life and caring citizens actively participate to help the elderly from poor families and widows spend a warm winter. Over the past 18 years, a total of more than 450,000 pieces of clothing have been delivered to the recipient families, helping more than 60,000 disabled families and more than 80,000 lonely and widowed elderly people, so that the warm sunshine can spread to every family in need. It is understood that this year, Qingdao Yizhong Crowne Plaza Hotel and Qingdao Shirongrun Nutrition Yijia Health Products have donated food, which will be exchanged for cotton clothes and quilts through volunteer charity sales, and will be sent to disabled families in Nancun Town, Pingdu City.
200,000 catties of "love cabbage" into the community
Since 2005, Qingdao Morning Post and Qingdao Microdust Public Welfare Association have jointly launched the public welfare activity of "Love Cabbage into the Community". According to reports, every winter, volunteers will transport cabbage from the fields of Pingdu to the street communities in the city and distribute them to families in need. This year, Qingdao Weichen Public Welfare Association and Qingdao Shengde Medical Care Group will jointly fund the purchase of 200,000 catties of cabbage and deliver it to more than 10,000 households.

According to the street staff of Fushan New District, the street and community will pass on the love, and arrange volunteers to deliver food to some elderly and physically disabled low-income families, disabled people and elderly residents in difficulty.
The charity market brings warmth to home
Convey warmth with love and spread civilization with action. The on-site public welfare market of "Learning from Lei Feng and Advocating Virtue and Healthy New Life" was very lively, and the residents were given a steaming "heart-warming meal".
