Xiao completed the payment of the fine on December 11.
Mulin Town once again reminds the residents that open burning not only seriously pollutes the quality of the atmospheric environment, but also easily causes fires and destroys soil structure. When dealing with straw, vegetable stalks, weeds, and leaves, don't leave it to chance. Mulin Town will insist on taking strict measures to control open burning, and once discovered, it will be punished in accordance with the law.
Tips. Paragraph 1 of Article 61 of the Beijing Municipal Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution stipulates that no unit or individual shall carry out open burning of straw, leaves, dead grass, garbage, electronic waste, linoleum, rubber, plastic, leather, asphalt and other acts of emitting pollutants into the atmosphere. According to the provisions of Article 110, if the above conduct is committed, the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management shall order corrections, and individuals may be fined not less than 500 yuan but not more than 2,000 yuan.
Item 2 of Article 64 of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that if the open burning of straw, fallen leaves, and garbage does not constitute a crime, the person shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days, and may be fined not more than 500 yuan;where the circumstances are more minor, a warning or a fine of up to 500 RMB is to be given;Where open burning constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility shall be pursued in accordance with law.
