The average temperature in Guizhou, Liaoning, Sichuan, Tianjin, Xinjiang, Yunnan and Zhejiang has been the highest in the same period since 1961, while Gansu, Henan and Shandong are the second highest.

During the season, Dunhuang in Gansu Province (374, September 4), Guazhou (368, September 5) and other 66 national meteorological stations, the daily maximum temperature broke through or equaled the local autumn historical extreme; A total of 36 stations in Northeast China, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Shaanxi and other places experienced extreme daily cooling events, and the daily cooling range of Wudalianchi in Heilongjiang (17, November 3) exceeded the historical extreme.

In autumn, affected by high temperature and low precipitation, the meteorological drought in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing showed a phased development, which eased in mid to late October. Since November, the meteorological drought in the southeast of southwest China has developed again. Up to now, there are moderate to severe meteorological droughts in eastern Yunnan, western and southern Guizhou.
