As a class teacher, I have always disliked "managing people". I have always felt that a teacher should do more to teach students than to supervise them. I remember once when I went out to attend a lecture, the teacher who gave the lecture said that the most responsible class teacher should stand with one foot in the door and one foot outside the door, so that you can always observe who is laughing in the classroom and who is playing in the hallway.
