Pay attention when installing a gas pressure reducing valve
Open the cylinder valve first, and then close it quickly, and pay attention to the human body not to face the outlet of the cylinder valve when operating.
The second step is to ensure that the working pressure of the pressure reducer is greater than or equal to the supply pressure of the cylinder, and completely relax the pressure regulator handwheel counterclockwise. Otherwise, when the high-pressure gas enters the pressure reducer, the initial pressure will damage the pressure reducer and downstream equipment, seriously endangering personal safety. Make sure there is no oil or contaminants at the inlet of the pressure reducer.
The third step is to tighten the inlet nut of the pressure reducer on the outlet thread of the bottle valve, and tighten the nut with a wrench. If the connection thread is deformed, it cannot be forcibly connected, otherwise it will damage the intake nut thread of the pressure reducer and cause a serious accident. It is forbidden to touch the cylinder valve and pressure reducer with grease hands or tools;Because the oil encounters high-pressure oxygen can cause **.
Step 4 is to prepare for flame welding or cutting, and the fire protection device is one of the components that must be connected. Connect the fire protection device to the outlet of the pressure reducer. Tighten the connection nut with a wrench. Flame welding or cutting may result in flashback. If there is no fire and fire protection device, the equipment can be damaged and endanger personal safety.
The fifth step is to connect a section of the hose to the gas appliance and tighten the nut of the hose fitting with a wrench.
The sixth step is to connect the other end of the hose to the outlet of the pressure reducer flame arrester and tighten it with a wrench plate.
Step 7: Turn off the flow adjustment knob.
Step 8 is to make sure that the pressure regulating handwheel of the pressure reducer is completely relaxed counterclockwise before opening the cylinder valve. Slowly open the cylinder valve before the inlet pressure gauge displays the cylinder pressure.
The ninth step is to open the flow adjustment knob slightly.
The tenth step is to tighten the pressure regulating handwheel clockwise to set the pressure so that the pressure displayed on the low pressure gauge reaches the desired outlet pressure. At the same time, oxygen-friendly leakage agents are used for leaks at each connection point. If the outlet pressure drops after the gas device is turned on, the pressure regulating handwheel can be tightened clockwise to compensate.
