The grand opening of the 2023 Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival!

It will make a grand debut in Haidian!
The 2023 Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival is guided by the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and the Chinese Dancers Association, hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Haidian District Party Committee, and undertaken by the Zhongguancun International Dance Center. The theme is "Fun Dance, Come to We". This year's Dance Drama Festival will enter colleges and universities and museums for the first time, and will use 1 "Dance Drama Face-to-Face Opening Ceremony", 14 high-quality dance drama performances, and 5 "Dance Lecture Hall" to provide everyone with a variety of artistic enjoyment.
At the opening ceremony, nearly 10 outstanding dance works from colleges and universities were staged, including Tsinghua University's original modern dance "The Ambition of Life", "Falling", "Hanyi Shuying", Peking University Law School's solo dance "Borrow", Beijing Normal University's School of Arts and Media's classical dance "Gong Le Tu", *Minzu University's Dance School Uygur Dance "Pomegranate Blossom", Capital Normal University's ** College Modern Solo Dance "Rising with the Wind", Beijing Sport University's "Break Dance" and "Zha Nian Muli", as well as Latin dance, street dance, Folk dance, contemporary dance and other programs, with the Tsinghua University Art Museum as the stage, show the integration of dance aesthetics and modern architectural art, and show the artistic charm of the collision and intersection of multiple dances.
For the first time, the 2023 Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival entered the university campus and the museum, and issued an invitation to college students and dance lovers to 'Fun Dance, Come to We'. During the event, we will also invite leading figures in the dance industry to give lectures on campus, leading new concepts of dance art and creating a new atmosphere of dance drama. Zhang Dongxu, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee, introduced.
It is understood that the Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival has been held for three consecutive times since it was first held in 2020. In the past three years, 34 dance dramas have been staged in 10 theaters, allowing dance art to bloom in the Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival, and making the Zhongguancun Dance Drama Festival an important platform for the exhibition and exchange of excellent dance dramas at home and abroad, an important position for promoting China's excellent dance drama works, and an important window for displaying China's excellent traditional culture and dance art.
Among them, as the premiere repertoire of the Dance Drama Festival, "Far Away" is another original high-quality dance drama in Haidian District. In the 100-year spiritual pedigree of the Communist Party of China, the spirit of "two bombs and one satellite" is a magnificent chapter, and many institutions and countless scientific researchers who participated in the development of "two bombs and one satellite" live in Haidian, starting from Haidian and going all the way west to distant places, deep into the Gobi Desert ......The dance drama "Distant Place" focuses on this group of people who closely link their personal destiny with the destiny of the motherland, and vividly reproduces the magnificent epic of "incognito and earth-shattering" written by them with their youthful blood.
