At 9 o'clock on December 10, the institute received a report from the person in charge of an enterprise in the jurisdiction that the cable stored in the warehouse was stolen, worth more than 4,000 yuan. After receiving the police, the institute immediately assigned the police to the scene to investigate. Through the access to surveillance**, it was found that a suspicious man drove into the construction site in the early morning, parked the vehicle in the monitoring blind spot near the warehouse after a circle, and then walked into the warehouse.
According to this important clue, the police quickly locked the identity information of the suspect Liao through visits and investigations and careful analysis. At 10 a.m., he was successfully captured.
According to Liao's confession, he was hired by the victim company to undertake the work of erecting cables. When it was time to tie up the cables, he put the remaining 5 meters of cables in a pickup truck and smuggled them out of the construction site. At 1 a.m. the next day, he infiltrated the company again, unlocked the warehouse door, cut more than 10 meters of cables, and stole it out in the trunk of a pickup truck. At present, the criminal suspect Liao has been criminally detained by the public security organs in accordance with the law on suspicion of theft, and the case is under further investigation.
