Tensions remain between Israel and Lebanon. Recently, Israel was hit by missile and suicide drone attacks from the Lebanese direction, to which Israel responded. United Nations military installations on the Lebanese border were also attacked. In addition, Allah Lebanon said in a statement that it had launched armed drones to attack an Israeli "command post" and launched an attack on the Israeli army Jal Alam post near the Lebanese border town of Naqoura. According to Lebanon***, the Israeli airstrikes resulted in five injuries and damage to many homes. U.N. forces stationed in southern Lebanon said their watchtowers were also under artillery fire.

The Israeli side has designated Allah Lebanon as firing rockets at Israeli forces, one of which was fired near a United Nations facility in southern Lebanon. Since 7 October, Allah Lebanon has supported and instigated the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) by repeatedly attacking Israeli positions and Israel has countered. This series of conflicts has exacerbated tensions on the ground. According to AFP, the situation on the Lebanese-Israeli border has resulted in the deaths of more than 120 people in Lebanon, most of them Lebanese Allah fighters, while at least six soldiers and four civilians have been killed on the Israeli side, according to AFP.

On November 23, a photograph taken from the Israeli side of the Lebanese-Israeli border showed smoke rising from southern Lebanon (pictured) after an Israeli attack. At the same time, in the Syrian direction, the area near Damascus was subjected to Israeli air strikes on the night of the 10th. The Syrian state news agency, citing a Syrian source, reported that at 11:05 p.m. that night, Israeli forces airstrikes on several locations in the suburbs of Damascus. Syrian air defense managed to shoot down a number of missiles, but others led to "limited" property damage. AFP reporters also heard loud ** noises coming from the suburbs of Damascus that night.

In addition, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple "Allah targets" in the Saida Zainab area and near Damascus airport. Official Israel has consistently neither recognized nor denied military operations in Syria.
