In September last year, Sony and OPPO announced a strategic partnership agreement under which Sony's new Lytia CMOS sensor will be used in OPPO's upcoming flagship phone. A post on Sony's Lytia Weibo account about the Lytia Lyt-900 sensor shows that the Oppo Find X7 Pro with this sensor will be officially available soon.
Sony's 1-inch Lytia Lyt-900, launched in June, is a 16 pixel CMOS sensor. The new stacking design separates the transistor and photodiode layers, allowing for physically larger diodes, more light capture, and better low-light performance.
Another company that OPPO has partnered with in terms of cameras is Hasselblad. The company also shared details of the Hasselblad Hypertone camera system with four camera sensors used in the Find X7 Pro. The camera system is color-calibrated by Hasselblad and is also equipped with a top-of-the-line zoom lens in its class.
To be sure, the Oppo Find X7 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor at its core. The processor is expected to come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. Satellite connectivity is also one of the features of the phone. The Find X7 will allegedly offer Dimensity 9300 and 100W charging support.
