In the sixteenth year of Jian'an, Liu Zhang invited Liu Bei to enter Sichuan to assist in the defense of Zhang Lu in Hanzhong. In 212, the two armies confronted each other, and Liu Bei annexed the Baishui Army and went south to Fucheng. The Yizhou army lost Fucheng and retreated to Luocheng. In 214, the city was lost, Liu Bei's soldiers came to the city of Chengdu, and Liu Zhang surrendered. Liu Bei's capture of Xichuan lasted four years, and among the top ten heroes were guides, top strategists, and tiger generals.

The guide Zhang Song, Liu Zhang's other driver, has a high position and outstanding talent. Zhang Song became Liu Bei's guide to Sichuan, and conspired to lay the foundation for Liu Bei's victory.

The three top strategists are Pang Tong, Zhuge Liang, and Fa Zheng. Pang Tong put forward three secret plans to promote Liu Bei to go south to Chengdu, which was indispensable. Zhuge Liang formulated the strategy of taking Yizhou in the west in "Longzhong Pair" and led the army into Sichuan. Fa Zheng was joined by Liu Zhang's subordinates to serve Liu Bei, strengthening Liu Bei's determination to seek Xichuan.

The six tigers will be Huang Zhong, Wei Yan, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, and Huo Jun. Huang Zhong conquered Chen Liu and made great achievements for Liu Bei. Wei Yan has made many military exploits under Pang Tong's strategy. Zhang Fei Jieba County was the first to arrive in Luocheng. Zhao Yun and Ma Chao played an important role in supporting Liu Bei in his efforts to conquer the city. Huo Jun held on to Jiameng Pass for more than a year, repelled Liu Zhang's army, and made great contributions to Liu Bei's stable foothold in Xichuan.

The resourcefulness, bravery and loyalty of these ten heroes jointly created Liu Bei's brilliant record in conquering Xichuan.
