Atlanta, 11 Dec (Xinhua) -- The 10 th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption opened in Atlanta, United States, on 11 December. Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng led the Chinese delegation to attend the meeting and made a speech to elaborate on China's position.
Xie Feng said that the Communist Party of China and China have always taken a clear-cut stand against corruption, and have won the heartfelt support and broad support of the Chinese people. Under the strong leadership of Chairman Xi Jinping, China has launched an unprecedented anti-corruption struggle, insisting on no forbidden areas, full coverage, zero tolerance, and advancing the fight against corruption in an integrated manner, and the anti-corruption struggle has won an overwhelming victory and has been consolidated in an all-round way. Xie Feng pointed out that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of the United Nations Convention against Corruption for signature. As one of the first countries to sign and ratify the United Nations Convention against Corruption, China has always faithfully fulfilled its obligations under the United Nations Convention against Corruption, fully participated in the formulation of international anti-corruption rules, put forward constructive anti-corruption initiatives, vigorously promoted practical cooperation in law enforcement and justice, and became an active participant and important contributor to global anti-corruption governance. China abides by the principles of sovereign equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of all countries, and is committed to promoting the formation of an international anti-corruption partnership featuring fairness and justice, respect for differences, win-win cooperation and commitment to commitments.
