China s Tiannuo smartphone brand has launched a new generation of photography flagship models, brand

In recent years, the Chinese smartphone brand Tiannuo has achieved good results in the mobile phone market with its excellent cost performance. Recently, the company has brought another round of mobile phone releases, this time also upgrading the camera features. One of the most striking is a new model called Phantom X2 Pro, which has a unique pop-up camera that enables 25x physical magnification effect. At the same time, Tiannuo has also launched two folding screen phones, Phantom V Flip and Phantom V Fold, which are one of the most affordable options on the market today.

Today, Tiannuo has brought three more innovative technologies with cameras as the core. One of the most striking is a liquid lens macro zoom camera, which is integrated into a telescope-style zoom camera module. Liquid lenses are nothing new, and Xiaomi already used this technology in last year's Mi Mix Fold. Liquid lenses are capable of changing shape, zooming through mechanical motion or voltage applications. The aim is to achieve two different photographic scenes in the same lens system.

So far, we have only seen liquid lens systems in conventional camera arrays, where the lens elements are placed directly in front of the camera sensor. This system has its own limitations, as the vertical space available on the body of the phone is limited, and the space for lens movement to achieve higher zoom is limited. This is where the binocular, also known as folded lens, system comes in handy. This architecture uses a prism directly below the main camera opening, bending the light 90 degrees through a tunnel-like lens system and finally onto the camera sensor photodiode.

Tiannuo has also redesigned the camera aperture system. In simple terms, the aperture is the opening in front of the sensor that allows light to enter. The larger the opening, the more light enters the sensor, which ultimately translates into more detail**. In addition to affecting light intensity and level of detail, aperture size also affects depth of field, enabling you to achieve the desired background blur effect, especially in portraits**. The wider aperture also increases the shutter speed, which means that frozen images of moving objects can be captured.

However, most phones are equipped with a fixed aperture. Samsung offers a variable aperture system on the Galaxy S9 Plus, Huawei does the same on the Mate 50 Pro, and Xiaomi also offers this convenience on its Xiaomi 13 Ultra flagship. However, the aperture shape still follows the same chrysanthemum petal form.

Tiannuo has innovated the traditional W-shaped dimmable aperture. The company claims that this patented technology will reduce glare in ** and more precisely control the amount of light that falls on the sensor. If you deploy it on a mobile phone, the actual effect will be very much worth looking forward to.

The last camera technology developed by Tiannuo is the Universal Tone Technology. This technology achieves true skin tone retention through a software system that Tiannuo calls a multi-spectral matrix. The system is able to recognize the texture of different areas of the portrait and adjust the light presets accordingly for a natural, realistic effect. Google's Real Tone technology for the Pixel smartphone has been widely acclaimed. Tiannuo's camera upgrade is full of highlights, but unfortunately, we don't know when these new features will appear in a phone – let alone a phone sold in the US market.
