This poisonous dragon has a very big temper, and is extremely angry, even if a fallen leaf falls into the pool and makes waves, it will thunder and lightning, and it will only stop after a few days of heavy rain, and pedestrians passing by this place must tiptoe quietly, and the atmosphere will not dare to say a word, otherwise a thunderbolt will scare people half to death, and the heavy will knock them to the ground on the spot.
One day, Zen Master Ciming (Li Chuyuan, from Quanzhou, Guangxi) and Zen Master Quandao (Shiguquan, Haodao, Quanzhou) passed by the pool of Daowu Mountain, and Quan Dadao suddenly pulled Ciming's sleeve and said: "We can take a bath in the pool, and look, how clear the water is here!."”
Ciming knew that there was danger here, so he ran away with a shake of his hand, and told Quan Dao not to go into the water, but Quan Dao took off his clothes and jumped into the pool, swimming happily.
In an instant, the sky clicked a few loud sounds, the thunderbolt suddenly sounded, the originally clear sky became dark, the smelly wind carried the torrential rain immediately swept in, the trees by the pond were blown up and swayed, and some trees were blown up to the sky with mud from the roots, and the dead branches and leaves flew wildly.
Zen Master Ciming squatted in the grass, frightened and earthy, thinking that it was bad, poor Quan Dao would definitely die today. When you look closely, the waves in the pool are monstrous, and the spring avenue where you originally swam has long been gone!Ciming couldn't help but secretly complain.
After a while, the sky cleared again, the wind stopped raining, the wind and waves in the pool were calm, and a bald head appeared, which turned out to be Quandao. I saw him smiling and shouting to Zen Master Ciming in the distance: "Hey, what is there to be afraid of!."”
It turned out that he had dived into the water, and he had already subdued the poisonous dragon by some means.
There was a painter in the Song Dynasty who painted a picture for this event, called "Spring Avenue Bathing Map", and the monk Shi Zhiyu wrote a praise on the picture:
Jump into the abyss and hold the dragon's head while you are idle.
The fishy wind was angry and thundered, and the black flying rabbit walked, which shocked Ciming a few times.
There are not many beggar tricks, and they are popular through the ages, so that they can split the spine building with white sticks.
Shi Shifan also has a song "Praise of Spring Avenue":

This Zen master of Quandao no longer knows his surname, only knows that he is a native of Quanzhou, who has been smart since he was a child, and his sex is dirty, that is, he is the same dust as the light, so he is very hated by ordinary people. After he became a monk, he did not pay attention to the precepts, and went as he pleased, visiting Fenyang Shanzhao Zen Master, but he was appreciated by Shanzhao, thinking that he was a strange monk and secretly conferred notes on him.

Once, Quan Dadao meditated on the top of Zhurong Peak in Hengshan in the middle of the night, and a big python came at some point, circling him around him for many circles. If ordinary people had been scared to death, Quan Dadao untied his clothes and tied them around the waist of the python, and then continued to settle down.
The next day he went out of time, but the python was gone. So he searched all over the mountain, and when he found a pine tree, he saw that his belt was tied to a large pine tree. It turned out that last night's python turned out to be a pine demon.
The Zen master of Quandao is infinitely powerful, and he once walked alone from Houdong Temple with a stone Arhat statue to Nantai Temple, which weighs at least a few hundred pounds. The next day, the monks of Nantai Temple were shocked and inexplicable, and they didn't know that ** ran a stone Arhat.
And the monks in the cave couldn't figure out where Shi Arhat went. So people spread the word of mouth, the more they spread the more gods, they called this stone Arhat to fly to the Arhat, and later learned that it was a good thing done by the Zen master of Quandao.
One day he passed by Hengshan County and saw a butcher chopping meat, he stood next to him and made a pitiful appearance, pointed to the meat, and then pointed to his mouth.
The butcher asked him, "Are you dumb?"He nodded. The butcher felt very sorry, so he cut off a piece of the eldest man's flesh and put it in his monk's bowl. Quan Dadao was overjoyed and shouted "Thank you!".Thanks!He laughed at all the people in the bazaar, but he went away with his meat in high spirits.
Later, he lived in Nanyue Basho'an, where he was treated unjustly, for unknown reasons (perhaps because he was not afraid of alcohol and meat), and the government stripped him of his monk's clothes, made him wear civilian clothes, and took him to Chenzhou Prison City to work as a coolie. In the sweltering summer, when he was carrying dirt and stones through the street, he put down his burden and sat down to rest. Many people recognized him as a monk, and they came to **, and the audience was blocked for a while.
Surrounded by everyone, he calmly said:
Today, on June 6, Gu Quan suffered a sin.
Either you go to heaven or you go to hell.
After speaking, he smiled and passed away, and for a while people smelled a strange fragrance lingering. He was 92 years old and a monk for 64 years. Since that time, the people of Chenzhou have built a tower to worship him, a strange monk.
