In recent years, China's automobile consumption has seen a slight increase, in order to seize market share, the automobile manufacturers have carried out a first-class war, forcing upstream auto parts manufacturers to reduce prices, and at the same time, the pressure and risk of inventory management have been transferred to the upstream parts enterprises. However, there are a large number of auto parts enterprises in China, inventory management is relatively extensive, at present, China's auto parts enterprises generally have a large amount of inventory, a large number of inventory, and a high proportion of inventory. In view of the comprehensive analysis of the inventory management problem with the largest proportion of each link in China's automobile industry, this paper will locate the specific object of research in the auto parts manufacturing link, first of all, for the consideration of profit creation ability: in the total cost of the whole vehicle, the proportion of parts and components is relatively high, which shows that the profit margin of China's auto parts supply industry is very large;Secondly, the parts manufacturing industry is an important node in the automotive chain, and it is an important link linking upstream raw material suppliers and downstream end products. The momentum of the development of the auto parts industry fully reflects the development of the downstream market and drives the demand of the upstream. In addition, the manufacturing process of automobiles has high technical content and complex processes, and in this process, the parts used are countless, which puts forward higher requirements for the inventory management of auto parts enterprises. Therefore, inventory management is an important topic in the automotive parts industry.

The first part is the introduction, which mainly expounds on the five aspects of the problem. The second part is an overview of relevant theories, combining relevant theories at home and abroad, comparing and analyzing the current theories and methods of inventory management. Through the analysis of some problems in the current inventory management theory in practice, the significance of inventory management research to the development of related theories in the simultaneous combination of internal and external research is clarified.
The third part is an analysis of the current situation of inventory management and related issues of related enterprises. In view of the actual situation of relevant enterprises in China, a comprehensive analysis of the inventory management status and existing problems of relevant enterprises in China in procurement, production, sales and other links, and the internal relationship of the problem is analyzed, and the root cause of the problem is found.
