Weiyu Mountain, formerly known as Juyi Mountain, also known as Qiuzi Mountain, is located about two kilometers south of Huangyan District, Zhejiang Province, with an altitude of 87 meters above sea level and a total of five peaks. Its name is based on the story of the ancient alchemist Liu Fenglin. It is rumored that Liu Fenglin learned the Tao in Songshan, Henan, and after the failure of the Heshen Pill, he migrated to the Juyi Mountain in Huangyan, and after years of hard work, he finally succeeded in refining the elixir and was able to soar, and its crane fell at the foot of the mountain, so it was named Weiyu Mountain.

The history of Weiyu Mountain is long, as early as the ancient Zhou Dynasty, Liu Fenglin practiced here to achieve the Tao, and controlled the crane lightly, so it was named. During the Tang Dynasty, Weiyu Mountain had become a Taoist resort. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Weiyu Mountain reached its peak, and there were thousands of classics hidden in the mountain Taoist temple at that time, and there was an endless stream of Taoist priests who traveled in all seasons. During the Yuan Dynasty, Weiyu Mountain gradually became the dojo of the Quanzhen Sect.

The natural environment of Weiyu Mountain is beautiful, the mountain forests are lush and bamboo, the grass and flowers are fragrant, the stream is murmuring, and the birds are singing, like a fairyland on earth. In addition, there are some famous Taoist places of interest, such as Dayou Palace and Dayoukong Myeongdong.

Weiyu Mountain is not only a holy place of Taoism, but also a cultural landscape that cannot be ignored in Zhejiang. Its Taoist cultural resources are abundant, covering many aspects such as health preservation, medicine, and martial arts. However, due to historical reasons, many of the "Twelve Views of Weiyu" have disappeared or been distorted. Despite this, Weiyu Mountain is still a precious cultural heritage left to us by history, and its Taoist cultural resources are of great significance for promoting excellent traditional Chinese culture.

In general, Weiyu Mountain is a mountain full of historical heritage and cultural charm, whether it is its beautiful natural scenery or profound Taoist culture, it makes you forget to return.
