In order to better promote the voluntary emission reduction trading of greenhouse gases, China has formulated a series of management measures and implementation rules. Recently, in accordance with the Administrative Measures for Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Trading (Trial), after discussions with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Implementation Rules for the Verification of Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Projects and Emission Reduction Verification have been formulated. This rule has been officially implemented on December 25, providing clearer guidance and norms for China's greenhouse gas emission reduction work.

The rules set out in detail the process and requirements for the validation and verification of voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction projects. First of all, the validation and verification agency needs to conduct a strict review of the materials submitted by the project owner to ensure the legality and compliance of the project. During the review process, the validation and verification body needs to make a timely decision on whether to accept the commission in accordance with the time limit requirements in the implementation rules. If you accept the verification entrustment, both parties need to sign a formal entrustment contract to clarify their respective rights, responsibilities and obligations. If the verification commission is not accepted, the validation and verification agency needs to inform the project owner of the reasons in a timely manner and give reasonable advice and guidance.

The implementation of this rule will help promote the standardization, standardization and sustainable development of China's greenhouse gas emission reduction work. At the same time, it also provides a clearer and more reliable verification basis for project owners, and further improves China's visibility and influence in the field of global greenhouse gas emission reduction.
