In Terraria, there are two ways to give a friend permission.
Method 1: Use shortcuts
1.Open the Terraria game server.
2.Once in the game, enter the shortcut "auth [player name]" in the chat bar on the left side of the game window, where [player name] is the username of the player you are about to give permission to.
3.After confirming that the input is correct, press the enter key to send the command. At this point, the server will give the player administrator privileges.
Method 2: Use the permission management function on the Settings page
1.Enter the game, move your mouse to the upper part of the game screen, select the "Settings" option.
2.Select Multiplayer in the settings window, and then select your world.
3.In the world settings, select Permissions Management.
4.In Permissions Management, you can add new users and set permissions, or edit the permissions of existing users. If you want to give a friend spawn building permissions, you can choose to add a new user and enter your friend's game ID.
5.Once you've assigned permissions to your friends, save your changes and restart the server, and your friends will be able to build at the spawn point.
Players can choose the appropriate method according to the game version and the actual situation.
Notes] When authorizing a friend, we need to pay attention to the following points:
1.The higher the authorization level, the greater the operation authority of the friend, so we need to choose the authorization level carefully.
2.We need to make sure that our friend's actions don't disrupt our world, or we need to revoke their authorization.
3.We need to check our friends' authorizations regularly to make sure they're not doing something inappropriate.
