As we all know, museums have great potential and influence to make the world a better place. In Tustin, there is also such a corner of the place, interpreting the wisdom of life of the Chinese nation that has been inherited for thousands of years - the "Twelve Hours" small time museum, which tells the beauty of culture flowing in the hours with time.

Go with the sky and live from time to time. Since the beginning of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the ancients found out the basic law of day and night according to the laws of nature, the changes of the sky and the careful observation of their own production habits, so as to divide the day and night into 12 sections, that is, 12 hours, in order to better guide daily work and daily life. In the early years of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, a "Taichu Calendar" made unified provisions for the title of the twelve hours for the first time, and formulated poetic names for each hour, that is, "midnight, rooster crow, Pingdan, sunrise, eclipse time, Yuzhong, mid-day, sun-day, sun-time, sun-in, sunset, and people-fixed".

Among these twelve hours, the "food time" and the "morning time" are the two meal periods of the ancients' "two meals a day". Shishi, also known as Chaoshi, is named after the earthly branch, and is called Chenshi, which refers to 7 to 9 o'clock every day, which is the time when the ancients ate for the first time. "Three Shame Poems and Three Poems" mentions that "there is wheat bread in the morning food, and there are cloth clothes in the morning", and the stomach of the morning food is in order, and it is necessary to have breakfast on time to make up for one yen of qi. The time of the day, also known as the evening eclipse, is named after the earthly branch, and is called the time of the Shen, which refers to the time of the second meal from 15 to 17 o'clock every day. Du Fu's "Xu Bu" records that "the whole step is green, and the barren court is long", and when the time comes, it is advisable to put down the hard work, Xu Bu Siye, and enjoy the leisure and pleasure after a full meal.

In Tustin, there is a theme store named "Twelve Hours", which vividly interprets the Chinese time culture. "Twelve Hours" is the first cultural-themed space store created by Tustin, adding a strong touch to Tustin's exploration of the road of Chinese cultural rejuvenation. Coming to Tustin "Twelve Hours", it is like being in the realm of time and space, and every inch of detail can be exquisite.

As soon as you enter the store, the red and silver "Food Clock Array" comes into view, and 1,000 Chinese characters write 193 emotional phrases, such as "We are never lonely on the road of no return for foodies", "If you shouldn't eat late at night, why is there a light in the refrigerator", go deep into the life situation of migrant workers, and perceive every moment of social animal life.

Looking up, there is an endless mirror - the name "abyss mirror", which is inspired by Nietzsche's phrase "When you stare into the abyss, the abyss also stares at you". Stopping here, you can get a glimpse of the past, but also think about the future.

Moving to the second floor, standing in front of you is an interactive electronic sensor screen, which captures the posture of the body in real time, and takes you to start a fantasy dialogue with another self in parallel time and space. When visitors pose in different poses in front of the interactive screen, the figures on the screen will follow dynamically, and the interesting food texts hidden in the interactive screen, such as "A dream into chaos, food hits the stars", "Born food, how to make fat", etc., are also revealed.

Looking around the pavilion, the twelve "time pillars" stand in a circle, and the 12 zodiac mascots of the image of Tass stand on the top of the column, as if to show the truth of life of "living up to the year and cherishing every minute".

Directly above the "Hour Pillar", twelve "Hour Lanterns" are hung in order. Looking closely, each cage cover is based on the living habits of different times, and it is written with "child time - sleep, ugly time - light sleep......The laws of daily life and rest, such as "戌時-Alignment", "Hai-Shi-iQue", etc., highly condense the wisdom of the ancients in the twelve lanterns.

On one side of the pavilion, there is the most distinctive corner of the "Twelve Hours" - the Time Museum, where four ancient Chinese timekeepers, the hourglass, the carved leak, the water transport armillary sphere and the Gui watch, are presented, and the wisdom of the ancient timekeeping culture is presented in a physical exhibition, creating a valuable window for visitors to understand, perceive and cherish time.

Nowadays, with the fast-paced development of society, bad habits such as reversing day and night and irregular meals have become the norm for most people. With the slogan of "Regular Life, Eat Well", Tustin 12 Hours Theme Store breaks the store's conventional menu setting and creates the "Rooster Breakfast Series" to provide full energy supply for every office worker.
