France's Macron on Wednesday (December 27) met Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to demand a "continued ceasefire" in Gaza.
According to a statement issued by Macron's office, France will cooperate with Jordan in the coming days to carry out humanitarian operations in Gaza.
As the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza corridor continues to worsen, Macron expressed his "deep concern" to Netanyahu on the same day about the civilian population in Gaza and the humanitarian emergency.

On the other hand, Egypt's ** el-Sisi held talks with visiting Jordanian King Abdullah II in the capital Cairo on Wednesday, and the two sides discussed issues such as relations between the two countries and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The two leaders stated that they totally rejected all attempts to uproot Palestinians or internally displace them, and that the only solution that the international community should promote was an immediate ceasefire and the prompt and adequate provision of relief assistance in order to truly alleviate the suffering of the people of the Gaza Strip.
They stressed that an independent Palestinian State with East Jerusalem as its capital and based on the 1967 borders should be established at an early date in accordance with the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy and a just and comprehensive settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian question.
