Recently, the Gansu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Gansu Provincial Department of Finance jointly issued the "Notice on Adjusting and Increasing the Provincial Unemployment Insurance Payment Standards", deciding to adjust and increase the unemployment insurance payment standards in the province again from January 1, 2024. It has been learned that after the adjustment of the unemployment insurance payment standard in Gansu, the province's unemployment insurance payment standard has been adjusted from the current 1,638 yuan per month in the first-class district, 1,593 yuan in the second-class district, 1,548 yuan in the third-class district, and 1,503 yuan in the fourth-class district to 1,818 yuan in the first-class district, 1,764 yuan in the second-class district, 1,719 yuan in the third-class district, and 1,665 yuan in the fourth-class district. The unemployment insurance premium standard reached 90% of the minimum wage standard in Gansu Province, and the monthly per capita increase was 171 yuan, with an average increase of 11%. Other relevant benefits based on the unemployment insurance premium standard in the province have also been improved simultaneously. The implementation of the new standards for the payment of unemployment insurance premiums will further enhance the ability of unemployment insurance to provide protection, improve the basic livelihood of the unemployed, and give full play to the function of unemployment insurance in protecting people's livelihood and promoting stability.
