The Hainan maritime large-scale cruise rescue ship "Haixun 03" returned to Haikou safely at 14 o'clock on December 10, successfully completing the five-day patrol law enforcement task around Hainan Island. In this mission, the "Haixun 03" ship departed from Haikou and cruised the waters of the Qiongzhou Strait, Qizhou Islands, Sanya, Basuo and Yangpu along the way, and returned safely on December 10. During the cruise, maritime law enforcement officers used various equipment and means, including AIS (Automatic Identification System), radar, photoelectric tracking system, etc., and applied the ship-shore linkage inspection mechanism to conduct a comprehensive inspection in the waters around Hainan Island.
They monitored the navigation environment and navigation order of ships in the Qiongzhou Strait alignment system, submarine optical cables, areas where commercial fishing vessels intersect, areas where yachts are intensively active, offshore wind power project planning, and construction areas for water and underwater activities, spot checked the radio duty of ships, and conducted communication tests of VHF base stations around the island. In addition, they also investigated potential safety hazards such as fishing nets and floating objects that obstruct navigation, so as to maintain the order of navigation, prevent ships from polluting the ocean, and ensure a stable and orderly water traffic safety situation at the end of the year and the beginning of the year.
In this five-day round-the-island cruise, the "Haixun 03" ship had a total mileage of more than 500 nautical miles, a cruise time of more than 30 hours, more than 60 hours of berthing duty, 39 law enforcement personnel, a total of 12 important routes and anchorages, 105 navigation aids, 14 random inspections of ship radio duty, 17 ship AIS information verification, 3 inspection of wading engineering construction projects, and 1 case of violation of laws and regulations.
At the same time, they conducted 16 tests on the communication quality of VHF base stations along the coast of Hainan, and 6 times on the conventional communication tests of medium and high frequency DSC (digital selective calling) and SSB (single sideband) for coast stations. According to reports, since it was incorporated into the Hainan Maritime Safety Administration in March this year, the "Haixun 03" ship has participated in nearly 20 patrol law enforcement and search and rescue missions. So far, the ship has sailed more than 10,000 nautical miles (about 18,500 kilometers).
