Stretching Grass, a common medicinal plant, is named for its effect of relaxing the muscles and activating the nerves. Planting Tendon Grass can not only meet the needs of medicine, but also bring economic benefits to farmers. The planting method of the tendon grass will be described in detail below.
1. Site selection. Choose sandy loam soils with flat terrain, deep soil layers and good drainage for planting. Avoid low-lying soils, clay soils, or heavily saline soils, which are not conducive to the growth of tendon grass.
2. Soil preparation and fertilization.
Before planting, the soil is turned 25-30 cm deeply, combined with ploughing, and 2000-3000 kg of well-rotted farmhouse fertilizer and 25 kg of diammonium phosphate are applied per mu as base fertilizer. After leveling the rake, make a furrow, and the furrow is 12 meters, the width of the working road is 40 cm, and the height of the furrow is 15-20 cm.
3. Sowing. Seed treatment: Soak the seeds in warm water at about 40 for 24 hours, wrap them in a damp cloth and put them in a warm place to promote germination, rinse them with water once a day, and sow them when the seeds are white.
Sowing time: Generally sowing from mid-April to early May, when the temperature is suitable and conducive to seed germination.
Sowing method: Seed sowing by strip sowing or spreading. When strip sowing, make a ditch on the furrow surface, the ditch distance is 20-25 cm, the ditch depth is 3-5 cm, the seeds are evenly sown into the ditch, and then covered with soil to suppress; When sowing, the seeds are evenly sprinkled on the furrow surface, and then covered with soil to suppress. The amount of seed per mu is 15-2 kg.
4. Field management.
Cultivating and weeding: After the emergence of seedlings, it is necessary to carry out cultivation and weeding in time to prevent weeds from competing with seedlings for nutrients. When cultivating, it is necessary to hoe shallowly so as not to hurt the roots.
Watering: Stretching grass likes a moist environment, and should be watered in time when it is dry to keep the soil moist. When watering, water should be small and frequent to avoid flooding.
Fertilization: During the growth period, it is necessary to top dressing in time according to the growth of the plant. Generally, top dressing is done once in June and August, and 10-15 kg of urea or 20-25 kg of compound fertilizer is applied per mu each time.
Pest control: There are fewer diseases of the tendon grass, mainly leaf spot and anthracnose. The prevention and control method is to spray 800 times of 50% carbendazim wettable powder or 1000 times of 70% methyl tobuzin wettable powder in the early stage of the disease. The main insect pests are aphids and red spiders, which can be controlled with 40% dimethoate EC 1000 times or 20% dicofol EC 800 times.
5. Harvesting and processing.
Harvest time: Generally harvested in autumn when the stems and leaves are wilted, when the content of active ingredients is high.
Harvesting method: Dig up the whole plant, remove soil and impurities, and dry it in the sun or dry it to be used as medicine. If it is only used for leaf picking, it needs to be harvested and dried in the summer when the stems and leaves are luxuriant.
