Hand drawn in the age of software
Drawing, the word reminds us of drawing with crayons and chalk in elementary school. Almost everyone has ever drawn, but I'd like to share some of my personal experiences.
Nowadays, in the design world, the widespread use of 3D drafting software makes hand-drawn sketches look primitive and laborious, and if not necessary, there is really no need for hand-drawing. Today, with great emphasis on the use of software and its performance effects, schools have greatly reduced their interest and attention to the teaching and practice of hand-drawing. Some people will ask, "Is the hand-drawn dead?"”
I'm passionate about hand drawing, and in my opinion, hand painting will never go away. Painting and drawing have always been magic words for artists and illustrators. "Painting" contains a wealth of content in the whole creative process, and in the early creations, it is almost synonymous with research, discovering problems, and presenting visual solutions. Traditional methods also use traditional media such as paper, pencil, watercolor, etc., and when immersed in the creation, you can enjoy the blend of oil paint and painted paper.
I'm very willing to use my existing energy to combine quick sketching with software use, which is very beneficial for communicating with the client and driving decision-makingI also hope to inspire other colleagues to explore and pursue the art of hand-drawing.
