TEMU cross border requirements RSL Report processing

EU EC 1907 2006 Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

It entered into force on 1 June 2007 and has been in effect in the European Union since 1 June 2008. It is the EU's newest chemicals regulation and is considered the most important regulation in 20 years of legislation, and it is estimated that it will have an impact 12 times that of the RoHS directive and will affect many industries around the world, including the electronics industry.

The RSL Restricted Substances List, i.e. Annex 17 of REACH, is a key item of spot checks in the EU market.

At present, most of the RSL qualifications required by Temu Pinduoduo for products are RSL Report (lead and cadmium), RSL-phthalate (phthalate), and RSL-SCCP (short-chain chlorinated paraffins).

TEMU cross-border latest requirements RSL qualifications.

One. EU RSL phthalate, lead, cadmium and other tests.

TEMU requires RSL qualification for electronic and electrical products, such as RSLREPORT (EU lead and cadmium chemical substance test report) and RSLPHTHALATE (EU RSL phthalate phthalate project test report), RSLSCCP (EU RSL short-chain chlorinated paraffin project test report).

Based on the test results, the laboratory evaluates the hazardous substances in the product and compares them with the limits set out in the EU REACH regulation. If the harmful substances in the product exceed.

If the limits are specified in the EU REACH Regulation, then the product will not be able to pass the RSLREPORT certification.

Two. What is RSL reporting?

RSL stands for Restricted Substance List, and RSL Report stands for Restricted Substance Test Report, to ensure that hazardous chemicals are excluded from the product and that the global restrictions for various chemicals are met. Helping manufacturers and retailers ensure that their products comply with rapidly changing regulations and standards that dictate the kinds of chemicals and chemical substances that can be used in a product. Restricted substance list testing involves a series of laboratory tests on a product to determine which substances are used in the product and a review of the manufacturer's product instructions. A report is then issued to prove product compliance. With the gradual improvement and implementation of Temu (Pinduoduo Overseas Version) rules, RSL qualification has become a necessary condition for Temu merchants to put products on the shelves and sell.

TEMU requires RSL qualification for electronic and electrical products, such as RSL Report (EU Test Report on Lead and Cadmium Chemical Substances) and RSL-Phthalate (EU RSL Phthalate Project Test Report). Welcome to consult
