The art of listening to animals and really getting feedback from them is based on two things: one is love, and the other is intuition.
I have been an interspecies communicator for over two decades, and during that time, I have helped many people rekindle their innate ability to open and receive messages from wordless beings through intuition.
I believe that the heart is where our intuition and innate wisdom reside. In order to get access to these, we need to get our busy brains away. But, this is easier said than done.
Align with your consciousness – bring your consciousness into your body and pay attention to what you are aware of. Focus on your breathing. Breathe slowly and deeply.
"Consciousness", as I define it in the Solisti Method, refers to the present moment and the state of awareness. For example, are you "in" your body? Can you feel the chair or floor underneath you?Are you with your breath?Focusing on your breath helps you connect with your body and makes you more focused and stable in the here and now. Animals feel safer and more secure around people who are centered, stable, and present.
Consciousness also refers to the state of your connection to yourself, to your room, to your world. Are you constantly thinking about things, or are you paying attention to the ground, the air, the light, and the way you move through the space?Animals are very clearly aware of their surroundings and how they interact in those environments. This comes from their instinct as predators or eaters. Their lives depend on staying aware and connected.
Connect with the center of your heart- Feel the feeling of focusing your mind on your heart. (I perceive the energy of the heart chakra as a pink-green vortex that starts with the heart in the body and then moves out and stays in my hands).
The heart center, or heart chakra, is where all of our most beautiful qualities reside;Love, compassion, joy, acceptance, patience. The heart has its own intelligence and has long been underestimated and neglected. Eventually, science began to catch up with what ancient and modern metaphysicians had always known: that wisdom and intelligence flowed from the heart. The mind is only where the intellect lies.
There are many ways to connect your heart. If you like visualization, close your eyes and imagine your heart center glowing pink or green. Next, smile and add a sense of joy to the spaciousness. Think about the people you love and feel how your heart reacts. Practice this every day to understand how your heart informs your nervous system, your thoughts, how you see and respond to the world.
I believe that intuition is the voice of the soul, spoken through the heart, heard by the mind, and executed by the body. To begin to be able to listen visually, enhancing your ability to connect with your heart is fundamental to success.
The next step will describe how you can start bonding with animals using what you've just learned. You will need to have an animal by your side at step 3. Extend your consciousness outward to the animals, but don't impose your consciousness on them.
Start by gently focusing on them, lowering your eyes and quietly greeting the animal. The greeting "namaste" ("My inner divinity salutes the divinity within you") is a way of honoring animals and their connection to the Divine, while acknowledging that you are also connected to the Divine, and therefore you are one.
Next,To extend your consciousness to the animals around you, imagine or feel the joyful, loving heart-centered energy flowing from you to the animals. The concept of "flow" is important. It's like a gentle breeze carrying a wonderful scent (instead of a raging storm blowing them down!).)
WaitAnimals extend their consciousness to you – what does it feel like to wait?Just observe it and notice what you tend to do, but don't do it. Stay still.
This is where many students lose connection, as few of us know how to "wait". In this case, waiting is simply "being". Do nothing. Be quiet, breathe, and keep an open mind, like a basket, ready to catch a small, ripe cherry that is about to fall from the tree.
Be aware of connectivity- Feel it, be with it. Notice what consciousness appears when the join happens. Feel grateful and appreciative of this connection.
Bonding is when you feel the animal "reaching out to you." You may feel loved. You may feel curious, calm, and serene. You may be surprised, or you may be hesitant. Whatever you feel, gently return love, acceptance, joy, and security. Notice if any of these are felt in a particular part of your body and just observe that part.
Don't think, but feel and let the mind present to you. (You can think, "I invite you to send me a message or communicate with me, if you will.......)"Then wait)
Resist the idea of "interpreting" what you've received or feeling and making up stories around an impression. Doing so will take you from the heart to the brain. Then the brain starts to work fast and may take you away from the experience. Stay with feelings, thoughts, or feelings;Accept it and just observe it, without any judgment or demand for more information.
Pay attention to the forms of communication that are taking place: sights, sensations, insights. Every animal communicates differently.
In my more than twenty years of listening to animals, I've found that once they know we're trying to listen to them, they start sending us thoughts and feelings through all channels, hoping that we'll receive signals from the channel that is strongest for us.
Each of us receives differently. Some of us are visual, some are auditory, and some are kinesthetic. Most of us receive information in a variety of ways. But sometimes we have a stronger flair for one way.
If appropriate, speak, write, or act based on the information you receive.
This step is very important. Saying what you have received (rather than belittling or questioning you) to a trusted friend who is willing to simply listen and witness you helps your brain accept the experience. Write down what happened to make it tangible and legitimize it. It also helps you remember what you went through. I recommend that you prepare a special journal specifically for your animal communication exercises and experiences.
Taking action on this is the most important "proof" for your soul that you are listening and will respect the message it will convey to you in the future. Of course, action is not always required. Maybe you just feel a wave of love and gratitude, and then the animal curls up and falls asleep. In this case, writing down what happened makes it more concrete and true.
The more you practice all of the above, the stronger your intuitive "muscles" will become. I see this process as growing flowers in the soil.
Clean and prepare the soil (align with your consciousness) Dig a small hole with your fingers, feel the wetness of the soil and pray for it to receive your seed (connect your heart center) Place the seed in the hole and cover it with soil (extend your consciousness to the animal) Watering (wait for the animal to reach out to you, then .......)Wait (feel connected). Go out every day to water and fertilize your little seeds. (Notice what's going on) Watch it break through the soil. Celebrate and tell people you trust about this miracle. Keep watering and fertilizing as needed (write it down) Watch it grow and bloom beautiful flowers. (Expressing gratitude for this most natural and beautiful thing that happens in nature every day......)It's as natural as talking to an animal!)
