The XL2401D chip is working at 2400~2.483GHz world-wide ISM band, integrated microcontroller SoC wireless transceiver chip. The chip integrates functional modules such as RF transceiver, frequency receiver, crystal oscillator, modem, etc., and supports multi-networking and communication modes with ACK. The transmit output power, operating channel, and communication data rate are all configurable. The chip contains an 8-bit microcontroller with EPROM as memory, which is designed for applications with multiple PWMs. For example, light control, remote control car applications.
In terms of IO resources, the XL2401D has 10 programmable bidirectional IO ports, each of which has a separate scratchpad to control as an input or output pin. The XL2401D has three sets of timers, which can be counted using the system frequency as a general timing application or triggered from an external signal. In addition, the XL2401D provides five PWM outputs with 10-bit resolution.
