From November 24th to 25th, the high-profile 2023WOT (WorldofTech) Global Technology Innovation Conference was held in Shenzhen. The conference was hosted by 51CTO and invited more than 50 industry experts to jointly develop innovative achievements and practical experience in multiple technical fields such as big data, AIGC, architecture evolution, artificial intelligence, and R&D management. At this conference, the participants not only got the opportunity for technical exchanges, but also fully felt the infinite charm brought by technological innovation. Mr. Zhang Jianlei, the person in charge of the cargo lala trading platform, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech entitled "The Practice of the Construction of the Cargo Lala Trading Middle Platform", which attracted wide attention.
In this sharing, Zhang Jianlei followed the ideas of definition, problems, countermeasures, and prospects, and revealed in detail the specific practice and innovative exploration of Lala in the process of upgrading the trading system. According to Zhang Jianlei, from the user's order to the performance of the capacity, to the transaction payment and order settlement, the cargo pulling transaction middle platform system runs through almost the whole process of freight, and needs to deal with the order operation, change, cancellation and other order operations on the user side, the performance process such as order receiving, loading and unloading on the driver side, and the price change, settlement, payment and other scenarios on the capital side, which also puts forward higher requirements for the stability of the system, the accuracy of data and the scalability of functions. In terms of the overall transaction construction, the cargo has adopted a step-by-step approach, and has gone through the ucore PHP stage, the J**a domain and the model capability stage, and finally effectively improved the overall functional structure, business support efficiency and stability of the system.
However, the construction process was not all smooth sailing, and Zhang Jianlei pointed out that in the transaction process, the management of the flow of information is crucial for the driver to fulfill the contract and meet the needs of the user. Due to the variety of cargo specifications, additional requirements such as disassembly, handling, and receipt are also different, and it is a challenge to integrate and clearly express these needs. At the same time, dealing with the user's dispute over the payment of subsequent expenses such as handling and ensuring the smooth completion of the order is also a problem that needs to be resolved in the transaction process. In terms of the capital process, the changes in user demand and additional costs caused by the performance process, the complex capital netting operation caused by partial or full prepayment, and the multiple settlement of pre-and post-cost costs all require the goods to achieve the ability of full-process payment and settlement.
Subsequently, Zhang Jianlei shared the key design made by Lala in order to solve these problems from three aspects. The first is the design of demand and performance information flow. On the order side, the cargo lala supports the expression of different sub-orders through the sub-order structure, each sub-order is configured in the state, and the data model support of different sub-orders is realized in the information, while on the waybill side, the cargo lala defines different types of waybills or fulfillment notes, supports the process of different types of fulfillment through dynamic processes, and finally accesses various types of specific capacity and external driver types through waybills or fulfillment notes to support the continuous expansion of freight. The second is the design of transaction capital flow. Cargo Lala is built around payment at any time, order price change, refund at any time, partial settlement and waybill settlement. Scenarios such as partial prepayment, cash to prepayment, and payment on behalf of others are supported through the association of sub-orders and bill details, payment slips and bill details, and order editing and various price change scenarios are supported through draft bills and fund netting, while on the settlement side, the revenue of drivers and platforms is recorded through the driver bill in the fulfillment dimension, and the settlement of different entities is realized through settlement statements and clearing. The third is the core application architecture of the entire transaction, which mainly includes business orders, order splitting, waybill services, as well as basic billing and calculation, etc., and cooperates with other fields to support various businesses such as intra-city and cross-city moving.
At the end of the speech, Zhang Jianlei introduced his understanding of the design concept of business application architecture, that is, to fit the business, ensure business efficiency and be moderately advanced. In the future, Cargo Lala will continue to promote the research and development of automatic order splitting and automatic order consolidation technology, closely focus on the characteristics of the freight industry, and build a diversified service and diversified capacity system that highly matches the characteristics of freight transportation. In the process, they will further promote the development of the business while ensuring the stability of the system, and bring a more efficient service experience and a better trading environment to users around the world.
