Slightly lacking, the third-row space and seat comfort of the Trumpchi E9 are not satisfactory. Due to the heavy snow in Beijing during the two days of the test drive, we did not drive this Trumpchi E9 at high speed and too intensely. But it also gives people an obvious impression, that is, it is very similar to the traditional fuel version of the GAC Trumpchi model, and it can even remind me of the GS4 of the year.
The steering wheel of this Trumpchi E9 is slightly on the heavy side, but the steering accuracy is not the tuning of the control vehicle, it is still slightly heavy on the premise of comfort. In addition, the driving vision of the Trumpchi E9 is mediocre, and it is difficult for the driver to grasp the distance from the right front corner, and it is difficult for novice drivers to grasp the width of the front of the car.
Secondly, the shock absorber tuning of this Trumpchi E9 is hard, and it is difficult to absorb the left and right shaking caused by fine vibrations and potholes, and it will be transmitted directly to the butt of the important VIPs in the second row, and even the continuous bumps will make the second row of passengers shake left and right, which does not reflect the sense of heaviness and comfort that luxury medium and large MPVs should have.
Finally, the NVH control of Trumpchi E9 is average, only the low speed within 40KMH can create a good cabin atmosphere, but there is obvious wind noise and road noise after the speed exceeds 90KMH, and the engine can be clearly heard when the car is cold, but the engine noise control is quite acceptable, it is quieter than Wei brand Gaoshan, but it is not as good as Denza D9.
Even if there are some unsatisfactory points, the Trumpchi E9 still has advantages, that is, it adheres to the good driving quality accumulated by GAC Trumpchi in the era of fuel vehicles. It's not too soft for comfort, but it's not too tight for handling either, and it's a car that knows how to balance. And because the Trumpchi e9 is very close to traditional fuel vehicles, it is very easy to use, even if you are driving it for the first time, you will not feel Xi or have no understanding of what functions.
Through this in-depth test drive of the Trumpchi E9, we guess that consumers who like the Trumpchi E9 should be users who are slowly transitioning from traditional fuel vehicles to new energy vehicles, because this car has no learning Xi cost and is easy to use.
