The Niulan River meanders through Huohong Township, with beautiful scenery on the riverside, and more than 2,000 hard-working villagers work and live here. In order to further improve the water environment and make up for the shortcomings of the rural ecological environment, Huohong Township incorporated the environmental protection and improvement of Niulan River into the village planning, and selected the domestic sewage treatment mode and scope of application according to local conditions to ensure the sustainable development of the village.
Huohong Township actively strives for project funds of 13 million yuan to build a 2,000-square-meter sewage treatment plant in Jizhen, and bury 6,000 meters of rain and sewage diversion main and 12,300 meters of branch pipes. The collected sewage is discharged up to the standard after being treated by a number of processes such as grid filtration, sedimentation fermentation and electrolysis, so as to avoid direct discharge of sewage into the Niulan River and protect the purity of the river water. At the same time, the project planning funds should be reasonably coordinated, and 1.8 million yuan of project funds will be invested in the ecologically sensitive areas along the Niulan River to treat rural domestic sewage, lay a pipe network to collect sewage, and carry out the construction of small and large three partitions. Promote the construction of water-flushing household toilets, effectively control the spread of odors and bacteria, use clean water to flush the bottom, reduce the pollution of filth to the environment, effectively protect the water quality of Niulan River, improve the living environment of the people, and enhance the happiness of the people.
