1 range. This document stipulates the design requirements for the direction of movement of the vehicle hand control device (hand control parts), and this document is applicable to M class vehicles, and other types of vehicles are implemented with reference.

2. Normative references.

The content of the following documents constitutes an essential provision of this document by means of normative references in the text. Among them, the reference document with a date is noted, and only the version corresponding to the date applies to this document; For undated references, the most recent version of the document (including all change orders) applies to this document.

GB T 4782 Road vehicles -- Controls, indicators and signalling devices -- Vocabulary.

GB T 12673 Main Dimensional Measurement Methods for Automobiles.

GB T 15089 Classification of motor vehicles and trailers.

GB T 17867 Position of passenger control parts, indicators and signals.

3Terms and Definitions.

The terms and definitions defined in GB T 4782, GB T 12673, GB T 15089 and GB T 17867 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Control configuration

The relevant combination of control part type, location, orientation, and mounting plane.

Direction of motion stereotype

The main population expects the direction of movement in which the manipulator operates effectively.

Conventional use Xi stereotype strength

A common way for most users to activate the manipulator.

On Off or Increase Decrease ControlA non-specific function controller with an activation, termination, or enhancement effect.

Specific function control

A manipulator used to activate a specific function.

Examples: Door locking and unlocking controls, window rise and fall controls, low beam opening controls, wiper controls.

4. Design requirements.

4.1 General.

The three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system referenced by the direction of motion and operation of the control piece should meet the requirements of GB T 12673, and the vehicle coordinate system is shown in Figure 1

B plane, a plane parallel to the z-datum:

The x-plane, a plane parallel to the x-plane.

The y-plane, the plane parallel to the y-datum.

4.2 Turn on and off or enhance and weaken the manipulator.

4.2.1 Usually used to open or enhance the effect of the control piece, its conventional use Xi is: - upward;

Forward; Rightward;

Pull back (lever, knob).

Rotate clockwise, forward, and right (see Table 1 for specific directions) 4.2.2 Usually used to turn off or weaken the effect of the manipulation of the Xi of its conventional use habits:

Down; Back;

Left; 1. Push and pull forward (rod, knob);

One rotates counterclockwise, rotates backwards, rotates to the left.

4.2.3 For Category n vehicles, the control parts can be opened using a downward operation.

4.3. Specific function control parts.

4.3.1 General.

4.3.1.1. The general movement direction of the control piece should be consistent with the actual movement direction of the controlled parts. Note: For forms in which the manipulator is subject to the control body (such as a vanity mirror), the direction of movement of the manipulator is not restricted. 4.3.1.2. Electric exterior mirrors and power window controls should not be arranged on surfaces facing away from the driver's face. 4.3.1.3. The knob type control piece arranged on the Y plane can be used as a control seat to go forward and backward (X) or up and down (Z) 43.1.4 rocker type control piece can be used as sunroof sunshade control, arranged on the plane that the roof is inclined forward and downward, and the direction of movement of the control piece should be consistent with the direction of movement of sunroof sunshade.

4.3.2. Electric exterior mirror control parts.

4.3.5. Lever control parts.

4.3.5.1 Steering control control parts.

Lift up or press down on the left lever in the same direction as indicated by the turn signal. For left-hand drive vehicles, the left lever is raised to turn right, and the left lever is pressed down to turn left.

4.3.5.2. Wiper control control parts.

For wiper control arranged on the left lever, the conventional Xi of windshield wiper use is to rotate the lever upwards. For designs with the right lever arrangement, the usual Xi for opening the wiper is to rotate the lever up, lift the lever up, or press the lever down. 4.3.5.3. Low beam: High beam control control parts.

The best way to turn on the low beam is to rotate the left (or right) lever upwards to the top. The way to turn on the high beam should be to push and pull the lever 43.6. Door electric unlocking control control parts.

When using a rocker switch to control door unlocking, it is advisable to use an icon prompt or a physical anti-lock prompt, or both, to indicate the door locking and/or unlocking operation.
