Bangkok, December 26 (Reporter Li Yingmin) On the 23rd local time, the final and award ceremony of the 4th "Zhongling Cup" Thai Chinese Chinese Language and Culture Competition was held at Chonghua New Freshman Huali School in Chiang Mai. This year's competition was initiated by the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, and organized by Chonghua New Life Huali School in Chiang Mai and the Confucius Institute at Chiang Mai University.
This year's competition set up three competitions: "News Broadcasting", "Chinese Song Singing" and "Hard Pen Calligraphy", attracting 630 students from more than 50 provinces and more than 200 schools across Thailand to sign up.
After fierce competition, the first prize, the second prize, the third prize, the encouragement award and the outstanding tutor award were finally selected.
Chen Haiping, Consul General of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, said in his speech at the closing ceremony that the "China Consulate Cup" has now become a brand event for middle school students in Thailand.
Kong Keri, Deputy Secretary-General of the Civil Education Commission of the Ministry of Education of Thailand, said that the 4th "Zhongling Cup" competition aims to promote exchanges and cooperation in Chinese language teaching in schools across Thailand, and is a useful platform to showcase the school's Chinese teaching achievements, reflect the Chinese knowledge and ability of middle school students, and promote cultural exchanges. It is hoped that the competition will get better and better, and provide more help to promote Thai students' Chinese learning and promote cultural exchanges.
