To build an international air cargo hub, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has the strength and confidence. Since 2023, Baiyun Airport has successively set a new record of "three lines in three days" and "five lines in three days" of international cargo routes, and has opened 14 new cargo routes between Guangzhou and Chennai, New York, Madrid, and Milan. Up to now, Baiyun Airport has more than 60 cargo routes, and the route network covers more than 230 navigation points around the world. After the third phase of the expansion project of Baiyun Airport, which has attracted much attention, is completed and put into operation, the terminal cargo and mail throughput capacity of Baiyun Airport will reach 6 million tons.

This series of "hairy crab speed" has refreshed the strength of "Guangzhou speed" and won more development space for Guangzhou's air cargo market.
It was learned from the conference that the country's first cargo apron transit area located in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, One Record and Baiyun Airport Digi-Cargo Digital Intelligence Integration were officially opened. The cargo apron transit area can realize that the goods can complete the transfer operation processes such as cargo transfer, cargo replenishment, and document bag production without arriving at the cargo station, making the transfer more convenient, smoother and more responsive.
The integration of ONE RECORD and Digi-Cargo at Baiyun Airport focuses on building Baiyun Airport into the world's leading "digital cargo" airport. This means that the cargo data of Baiyun Airport will take the lead in realizing end-to-end synchronization, visual tracking, full-chain transparency, and virtual and real twin in the world's first-class chain system. In the future, the cargo data of Baiyun Airport can be reached with one touch and one code within the global ** chain, which will ultimately help improve the logistics efficiency of the entire production and supply chain.
On the same day, the construction of FedEx South China Operation Center officially started. The project will cover an area of more than 410,000 square meters, and it is expected to sort up to 250,000 import and export parcels and documents, with sorting efficiency three times the processing capacity of the existing Guangzhou port operation center.
