The Asia-Pacific region is expected to grow to 6% this year, up from 8% in 2022, contributing about 70% to global growth.
Among the cities with the strongest comprehensive strength in Asia, Tokyo ranks first, and Singapore's urban development and economic construction also rank among the top in the world.
Shanghai ranks third in Asia, as an important international economic, financial and leading center in China, as well as the city with the strongest comprehensive economic strength.
A total of 12 Chinese cities made the list, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Nanjing, Taipei and Tianjin.
Shanghai leads the country in terms of GDP, Shenzhen surpasses Bangkok in economic strength and receives state support, Chengdu surpasses Dubai, and Hangzhou ranks first in the country in consumer spending.
